RED Valentino Fall/Winter Campaign by Tim Walker

I loved this Valentino AD campaign. The pictures are stunning and evocative with the ghostly white trees and skulls against and rich red and black couture. Below are my favorites of the 2013/14 Fall and Winter Valentino line:

Giambattista Valli- Aesthetic Couture

One of my new favorite designers: Giambattista Valli. His innovative designs create a sort of modern elegance with cascading silks and chiffons alongside futuristic cuts and architecture of clothing. This year's Fall line includes unorthodox Autumn colors; rosy pinks, French blues, and very bright whites.  The shape of the designs are á la mode; pleasing to the figure of the models yet new and fresh. Take a look at some of my favorite 2013 Valli Fall looks (that are now serving as inspiration to a new Fall wardrobe for myself):

It's been a while since I last posted, for the primary reason that it's Summer. I just got back from a road trip from Park City Utah to Flathead Lake, Montana and everywhere in between. Taking pictures of everything that caught my eye, I filled up the storage on both my camera and iPhone. So with that, I decided to post just some of the breathtaking views:

Dresses + Kate Nash

The setup before the show

Friday night my sister and I headed down to The Venue with the tickets that she bought for the both of us. For Kate Nash. We were psyched. Opening for Kate Nash was a band called Dresses; a girl and three guy group. I was so pleasantly surprised regarding their beat and original sound, so much so that I bought their CD on the spot. In particular, the lead singer (the girl) had such a stunning voice; unique and seriously breathtaking. So green of a band with so little publicity, they have only a handful of songs, most of them on YouTube (look up Dresses the Band). Furthermore, they do have one single, Blew My Mind on iTunes which also happens to be my favorite song by them (also make sure to see the live version of Blew my Mind on YouTube). I highly recommend that you check them out!

Black and White

I don't take black and white pictures often; I love color too much. But, over the last while or so I've been collecting the B&W pictures I've taken and saved them up. These are pictures that just get justice in monochrome:

Marina and The Diamonds

Yesterday was crazy. But amazing.

For my birthday (which is tomorrow actually), my sister bought tickets for the both of us to go to Marina and the Diamonds. Standing in line for an hour and a half in 91º weather wasn't too much fun but after we got in there, we knew we'd be glad we came. Opening act: Charli XCX, a British singer who I didn't know of until she introduced herself. The moment she started her first song was when the madness began. It was almost worst that is was a girl populated atmosphere because nobody was afraid to aggressively push and pull other girl's hair. It got even crazier when "Charli" sang the hit I Love It, a song that she features in along with Icona Pop. When Marina came out, I admit, I went a little psycho. After waiting for hours to see her and sweating like a pig from the body heat of people I was crammed into, I, along with everyone else, thought that it was only appropriate to go insane. Every single song, we screamed out the lyrics along with her, unable to hear our own voices. She was first dressed in a pink bustier along with a matching skirt and a veil, next changed into a black outfit similar to the pink, and lastly, a full-skirt silver dress; she just looked so picturesque. Honestly, I couldn't have imagined her being better live; her voice was perfect, even better than in her recordings. I was exhausted even though it wasn't too late (only elven) when it ended, from dancing around, and fighting an absolutely crazy crowd. Check Marina and the Diamonds out on iTunes as well as Charlie XCX!

Spring has officially sprung which always means (at least to me) new everything. New wardrobe, new habits, new eating. By "Spring Cleaning" I mean cleansing; should have put that, but I think "Spring Cleaning" is more catchy. Spring dietary cleansing means shoving aside all the winter comfort foods and the very poor variety of fruits and veggies that the cold had to offer. Now that it's about that time when the local farmer's market would be opening, try to collect most of your items like fruit, vegetables, cheeses, meats, etc. there, but if thats just not working for you, here's a grocery list of in-season produce that you should consider adding to your pallet this month:

Dandelion Greens

Actually using the ingredients above to make something would probably, maybe be a good idea- just saying. I've found some exceptional websites and recipes that incorporate some of the seasonal ingredients above; perfectly refreshing for the start of a new season. I choose the recipes I did not only based off of the ingredients and quality, but off of the excellence of the blog. These are great sites that I advise to further survey.
